Pre-Swim Team Clinic
Get Ready for Swim Team!
Pre-Swim Team Clinic is designed for swimmers without swim team experience, but who want to join a swim team. Students 8 & under must be able to float on their stomach and back for at least 10 seconds, as well as 'swim' with their face in the water and take at least 3 breaths on their own. Coaches are in the water for hands on instruction for the 8 & under groups. Repeat students welcome, but all new swimmers must register for and attend a free Swim Try Out.
The 9 yrs + group is for swimmers without swim team experience. They will learn basic swim team skills before joining a team. Try outs are required for all new swimmers to ensure correct program registration. Coaches are on deck for the 9 yrs + group.

Pre-Swim Team Extension
For swimmers in our fall pre-swim team clinic who have progressed and can now swim 25 yards freestyle (face inthe water with rhythmic breathing) and 25 yards backstroke. Coaches will be on deck for this program, but swimmers will continue to build their confidence, skills and stamina using equipment and stroke drills.
