FOCUS ON SERVING OUR COMMUNITY
Sixteen years ago, voters approved an improvement and funding plan, Measure E, to build the Pleasant Hill Community Center, Senior Center, and Teen Center, and renovate Pleasant Oaks Park. The result: all four facility renovations were completed on time and within budget. Today, these beautiful community facilities serve hundreds of local seniors, youth, teens, and families every day.
INVESTING IN FUTURE FACILITIES & PARKS
To continue to serve the recreational needs of our community, Pleasant Hill & Park District is in the process of evaluating the investments required to build a new park adjacent to the Pleasant Hill Library, improve existing parks, and rebuild or repurpose aging facilities including the School House, Winslow Center, and our 70-year-old Pleasant Hill community pool.
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
In the interim, the District continues to make improvements through our Capital Improvement Program (CIP). CIP projects are financed through the District’s operating budget and are designated specifically for maintaining and enhancing existing parks and facilities. These funds also support park and facility-related operational needs.
