About the Dolfins
Have Fun! Swim Fast! The Pleasant Hill Dolfins is a summer recreational swim team. Daily practice with instruction in all four competitive strokes, racing starts and turns and swim meets in the summer. The team also offers special activities for swimmers and their families.
Swimmers must be able to swim freestyle with their face in the water and rhythmic breathing, and backstroke. Swimmers 8 & under must be able to swim 25 yards of each stroke. Swimmers 9 & older must be able to swim 50 yards of each stroke.

Swim Try Outs
All new swimmers, aged 10 & under, including Mini-Dolfins, must register for and attend a free Swim Try Out to ensure correct placement. You MAY register for programs before attending try outs.

REGISTER EARLY & SAVE!
Register early to save money, take advantage of the optional payment plan and make sure you get a spot on the team. Some age groups will fill fast!
14 & Under Swimmers
Register between 12/8-2/28/26:
$615/$585 (Dist. Res.)
Register between 3/1-3/31/26:
$660/$630 (Dist. Res.)
Register between 4/1-5/18/26:
$685/$655 (Dist. Res.)
High School Swimmers
Register between 12/9-3/31/26:
$430/$400 (Dist. Res.)

Fee includes team t-shirt.
Optional Payment Plan
Register by 2/28/26 and the fee is split into 3 payments, with 1/3 due at the time of registration, 1/3 due March 1 & 1/3 due April 1. A credit card on file is required for the March 1 and April 1 payments.
When you register 3/1-3/31, the fee is split into 2 payments, with 1/2 due at the time of registration and 1/2 due April 1. A credit card on file is required for the April 1 payment.

Work Assignments
Parents/families play a vital role in the success of this program and parent participation is required. $1,000 Family Deposit (per family) must be paid by check at the time of registration to the Pleasant Hill Dolfins Parent Club. Checks will ONLY be cashed if work assignments are not completed. Parent Meeting will be held Friday, May 8 at 6:30pm at the Teen Center to discuss work requirements. Mini-Dolfins
8 yrs and under
A program for young swimmers who are not quite ready for the Dolfins Swim Team. Swimmers will be instructed in all competitive strokes. Depending on progress/ability, participants may move to the Dolfins Swim Team. Summer Mini-Dolfins participate in age group and end-of-season parties, receive a team t-shirt and swim in the last home meet (date TBD). New Minis must register for and attend a free swim try-out.
