Lap Swim Information
Lap Swim is available for pre-registration or as a drop-in with the punch card.

Lap Swim is held in both the Training Pool (TP) and Dive Pool (DP). See the schedule below to confirm location. You may be required to share a lane with one or more people. Please see below for our full Lap Swim Etiquette.
The Training Pool will close for the winter after programs on 11/23/25.
Winter Lap Swim Schedule (1/5/26-3/1/26)*
M/W, 8-9am (DP, 2 lanes)
F, 9-10am (DP)
Tu/Th, 5-7:30pm (DP, 2 lanes)
Sat, 9-11am (DP, 3+ lanes)
^ Please be patient with staff on Friday's as they work quickly to get lane lines in after water aerobics ends at 9am.

Lap Swim Challenge 2026
Celebrate the District's 75th anniversary by taking on our lap swim challenge!
Complete the distance goal of 75 miles between Jan 5th-Dec 5th, 2026 to receive a special anniversary edition swim cap!
Bonus prizes will be awarded to swimmers that reach additional milestones.
This is a one time fee to participate in the challenge and does not include lap swim entry fees. Additional lap swim fees required when participating. Register online here.
Track your completed distance at the pool by using our tracking sheets located in the front office.
1 mile = 1760 yards. Dive pool: 1 mile = 70.4 laps, Training pool: 1 mile = 88 laps.
Additional Information
- The Training Pool has four 20-yard lanes and is 3.5 -4 feet deep.
- The Dive Pool has six 25-yard lanes and is 3.5-10.5 feet deep.
- The number of lanes available to lap swim will depend on the program schedule.
- You may be required to share a lane with one or more people.
- Facility equipment such as kickboards is available for use.
- Lap swimmers can check-in anytime during their registered day/time, and swim until the end of that lap swim time.
- Physical Punch Card will not be issued. Punches will be stored electronically in our registration system. Punches will be deducted from your card when you check-in at the pool. Please ask the pool staff if you want to check how many punches you have left.
- Please check in at the front desk when you arrive.
- There are no refunds for canceled or missed reservations. Cancellations made at least 2 business days before the reserved day/time will receive a credit on account. Cancellations made less than 2 business days before your reservation will not be refunded or credited. Daily Fee: $11/$9 (Dist. Res.) Senior 55+ $10/$8 (Dist. Res.)
10-Swim Punch Card: $94/$75 (Dist. Res.) Senior 55+ $84/$68 (Dist. Res.)
Pool Alerts
- There are no alerts at this time.
Please see the FAQ's for our Air Quality policy and instructions for how to sign up for Pool Alerts.
- During Lap Swim times, lanes may be utilized to accommodate District programming.
- A lifeguard must be on duty and ready before swimmers may enter the pool.
This includes testing the water temperature by putting a hand or foot into the pool before lifeguards are ready. - You may be required to share a lane with one or more people.
- Circle swimming is required when there are two or more swimmers in a lane.
Please swim down the right side of the lane and back up to the right side of the lane. - Always announce your presence when entering a lane that is currently occupied.
- If you must pass a swimmer, please do so at the wall.
- NO DIVING – Please enter the pool feet first.
- Be kind and courteous to others.
- Lifeguards are on duty to recognize and respond to an emergency & provide care. They are not on deck to police lanes.
- Private instruction, coaching, organized events/workouts are not allowed without prior approval from the Aquatics & Sports Manager.
No refunds will be issued for having to share a lane with others or having to move lanes.
Pools are subject to closure without warning based on attendance, weather, emergencies, training, maintenance, or safety issues.
