Currently, we are accepting rental applications and will be allowing events in accordance with the guidelines and parameters under the Contra Costa Health Department (CCHS) public health orders. PARK & OPEN SPACE UPDATES (as of 12/4/20):
On December 9, 2020, the State of California updated its stay-at-home guidelines to allow playgrounds to stay open as essential.
"Playgrounds may remain open to facilitate physically distanced personal health and wellness through outdoor exercise," said CDPH Deputy Director of Communications Ali Bay.

Enforcement: Please be kind to our park staff who are out reminding park visitors about COVID-19 safety practices and park rules per the mandated public health orders. They care about you.
If residents do not comply with the above-mentioned restrictions, parks will be closed for public access and if appropriate, the Pleasant Hill Police Department will be contacted to enforce violations of the CCHS order. Failure to comply with the requirements is a misdemeanor punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both. Violation of the Order constitutes a public nuisance and a violation of the County Ordinance Code.

Pleasant Hill Aquatic Park re-open status is pending further evaluation of new Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) orders.
As of June 5, 2020, Contra Costa County has allowed pools to open with very tight restrictions and capacity limitations. Our Aquatics staff is in the process of evaluating to what extent we can open under these new guidelines. Our Aquatics Manager is working closely with colleagues in Contra Costa County and across the State to develop protocols to meet all the County’s health and safety requirements and standards. This includes EMS-approved protocols to ensure the safety of our lifeguarding staff in the event of an in-water rescue or other emergency care. The safety of our participants and our staff is a top priority.

Yes. The Senior CC Cafe program at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center will continue to provide meals "to go" for adults over 60 years old on a limited basis until further notice. The dining room at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center is closed. Stay tuned for re-opening updates coming in July 2021.
To-Go meals packs consisting of 5 frozen meals and 2 fresh meals with milk, bread and fruit on varying weeks are available for pick up at the Senior Center on Wednesdays from 10:30am-11am. There is a $21 suggested donation. Reservations need to be placed by Tuesday at noon. For people picking up meals, please wear a mask and allow a 6-foot distance between you and next person at all times. If you are unable to pick up, please contact us with as much advance notice as possible so we can make delivery arrangements for you if possible.
