Thanks to very generous donations of $100,000 from Tom and Ruby MacDonald, the Pleasant Hill Senior Center project is ready to start the entitlement process. The plans have been reviewed by the community and the city of Pleasant Hill. The District hopes to begin construction in 2010. |
The Pleasant Hill Senior Center will have a dining room and large meeting room with a capacity of 250 persons. It will also have an exercise room, computer lab, meeting and classrooms, plus a large outdoor deck with a view of Pleasant Hill Park. It will be built on the same site, but behind the existing Senior Center. |
